Character Description.
Appearance: Curly shoulder-length blond hair, the type of smile that looks like it's his default expression, robes that are practical instead of ornate. Medium height, slender frame; a skater's build or a swimmer's build, not so much muscular as flexible.

He doesn't seem to have outwardly learnt from his experiences during his lifetime – even if he is sorry, he will not trudge around like a martyr. Instead, he holds himself tall and carries himself with all the easy confidence of a man used to being smarter than everyone around him and able to convince others to listen to him.

His eyes are a clear, warm blue, fearless and unflinching. He smiles readily, and laughs even more easily. He eschews jewelry and personal ornamentation. His skin is a sort of very light brown, sunshine having tanned him just a little, and his smile is the sort that's described as 'infectious'.

Friends in life: A brief summer friendship with Albus Dumbledore. Apart from that, he chose to have subordinates instead of actual friends though people who mostly likely considered themselves his friends existed.

Enemies: Albus Dumbledore and a great part of the wizarding world of Eastern and Central Europe.

Love Interests: He was aware of Albus having a more-than-friendly interest in him, but at the time, was more intent on his plans for world domination than anything to do with romance.

Likes: Research, reading, performing experiments, studying, academic theory, playing pranks, flying, complex magic, ritualistic magic, fairy tales.

Dislikes: Idiots. That category usually encompasses most of the world.

Strengths: Powerful wizard, extremely charming, manipulative, good at extrapolation, logically-minded, persuasive.

Weaknesses: Low tolerance for stupidity, tendency to blaze rather than blend, impatience, lack of concern for societal norms.

Afterlife Details.

Home: Castle in the mountains, accessible by a path up to the front gate, or by air to the eyries. The castle is made of pale grey stone, looming tall and looking weathered. The grounds are wild, not well-kept in the least but instead allowed to grow however they want with the exceptions being the vegetable garden at the back and the herbal plots.

Inside, the castle is furnished somewhat haphazardly. Black, green and gold are the predominant colors, but the most noticeable thing isn't the furnishings but rather, the books piled everywhere. There are books on the chairs, books on the tables, and bits of parchment used as bookmarks with notes written on both sides of the paper.

Gellert's bedroom is located in a tower, and nobody ever enters there except him. The library is the biggest room in the castle, and also where he spends the most time except possibly the potions or experimental labs. The kitchen is much too big for one man to run on his own, so he keeps his meals simple. The afterlife, in his view, would be greatly improved if house elves were included to take care of domestic tasks.

Occupation: Self-employed, currently engaged in various forms of magical research. Most easily described as a theorist/Researcher. He's using his time to read up on everything he wanted to learn about during his lifetime but never had time to.
